Just 5 minutes from the beach and near the fishing harbour, Porthcressa is a traditional Cornish terraced cottage, carefully modernised to ensure that the original character and atmosphere have been preserved. It has been comfortably furnished and has all the necessary amenities to make your holiday a pleasant one.

Porthleven is a quiet fishing village which has kept the character of a fishing community centred around an interesting harbour.

There are some lovely coastal path walks right on the doorstep and the beautiful Penrose Estate with miles of lakeside and woodland walks is very close (pictured). Perfectly located, you will be able to visit St Michaels Mount (pictured), Kynance Cove, The Lizard and Lands End peninsulas, various National Trust Properties and and also take day trip from Penzance by helicopter or boat to the Isles of Scilly. Close by, and situated within easy driving distance is the beautiful Helford River and the main towns of Penzance, Falmouth, and Truro. Porthleven itself has all the necessary shops and amenities, including the Ship Inn, a traditional Cornish pub with spectacular views of the sea and two other pubs, the Harbour Inn and the Atlantic Inn. There are various restaurants, cafes, fish and chip shops, Cornish Pasty shops, plus Nauti But Ice, an ice cream parlour selling delicious Roskillys ice cream which is made locally.
