The Accommodation Porthcressa is a short, level, walking distance from the colourful and lively harbour and the shopping area. There are first class ammenities in the village including; supermarket, bakery, pasty shop, Post Office, chemist, newsagent, florist, various gift shops, fish and chip shops, cafes, restaurants, and inns. Although it has many facilities, Porthleven is a quiet fishing village which has kept the character of a fishing community centred around an interesting harbour. Porthcressa is a traditional yet spacious cottage that has been modernised for the comfort of visitors. The rooms are ample in size and the location is quiet yet in the centre of the community. The cottage has central heating for use in colder weather. All electricity, central heating and hot water is included in the price. At the back of the cottage there is an enclosed rear yard with parking area. Upstairs A spacious double bedroom and an even more spacious twin bedroom with a view (pictured) over the front garden. Bed linen is provided. The bedrooms are separated by a landing which also leads to a large family bathroom. The family sized bathroom is fully tiled and newly fitted to a high specification and has a corner bath, separate shower unit with a walk in cubicle which is located in the opposite corner of the room, wash basin and w.c.. Towels are provided.

Downstairs There is a lounge with feature fireplace, comfortable sofa and chairs, colour T.V. and DVD player. French doors lead to a front porch with access to the garden. The separate dining/sitting room has table and chairs and feature stone fireplace. From this room there are stairs leading to the bedrooms and bathroom and doorways to the lounge and kitchen. There is a separate, modern, fully fitted kitchen with a small breakfast table and chairs. Equipment includes; electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge with 3 star freezer compartment, wahing machine, ample kitchen units and worktop space toaster, kettle, crockery, saucepans and cutlery. There is also a clothes dryer in the cottage. The kitchen is bright with two windows and door leading to the rear yard and parking space. General Features A high standard of cleanliness is maintained in the cottage so that guests have a very pleasant stay. The cottage has a lovelly atmosphere and is personally supervised by the owner (who lives in the village) to ensure that a high standard is maintained. There are carpets in all rooms, except the kitchen and the bathroom. All linen is provided free of charge, all beds have duvets, and towels are provided.

The Garden The peaceful and sunny garden at the front of the cottage makes an ideal spot for relaxation, and for alfresco meals using the picnic table, chairs and shady umbrella that are provided. The garden is sited away from the road. The front gate leads to a pedestrian area between other cottages and towards the harbour. Please note, small children will need to be supervised in the garden because of the low wall on one side.

There is public transport from Porthleven to Penzance, Falmouth and Truro. The bus stop is approximately 200 metres from the cottage on the harbour head. National Express buses also stop in Porthleven. No pets allowed. Visitors are asked not to smoke in the cottage. Thank you for your co-operation.
