Porthleven is a quiet fishing village which has kept the character of a fishing community centred around an interesting, historic harbour. Situated in West Cornwall on the south coast, it is in the centre of Mounts Bay between Penzance and Lizard Point. There is public transport from Porthleven to Penzance, Falmouth and Truro. The bus stop is approximately 200 metres from the cottage on the harbour head. National Express buses also stop in Porthleven. To locate the cottage find the main street of Porthleven, Fore Street. Turn down by Creations Art Shop into The Gue. The cottage is on the right hand side, half way along the road.
